The employee reports to the Chemistry Manager and performs the following activities:
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Prepares samples for testing.
- Prepares chemical reagents and solutions needed for testing.
- Carries out qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses of food and water.
- Performs equipment calibration and quality checks as per assigned schedule.
- Engages in research to develop new test
- Performs test methods validation as per assigned schedule.
- Makes sure inventory stocks meet the work requirements.
- Maintains a safe chemical laboratory environment.
- Attends industry meetings as required.
- Performs other duties as and when required by the Chemistry Manager.
Requirements:
- High school or university degree, preferably in science.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluent Polish, good English.
- Understands test methods and procedures.
- Problem solving and organizational skills.
- Experience in analytical instruments troubleshooting is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
