Key responsibilities:

  • The core responsibility of this role is to contribute to the growth of Sales for Intertek Industry Services in Poland.
  • This will involve developing and executing business plans and strategies to attract new and retain & grow existing clients.
  • Promote strategic areas of the business and identify new revenue streams. 
  • Prepare and execute sales plan in line with Company’s sales objectives and policy. 
  • Formulate local business development strategy, in synergy with Group Management. 
  • Responsible for developing business opportunities in the defined area (hunting) and for maintaining existing customers (farming), through effective client research, prospecting, and networking. 
  • Develop and maintain personal knowledge of priority sectors, market trends and routes to market for improved effectiveness within a sales support function. 
  • Drive complex deals from technical definition trough budgeting and proposal to order.
  • To register on all tender platforms and public tender platform.
  • The role objective will be to manage and grow sales in the region and to lead customer service in Romania.
  • To develop a sales strategy and make recommendations for supporting organization.
  • To build sales teams and to drive and influence teams to success and high performance.
  • To build strong performance to provide excellent quality service to customers.
  • Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for Intertek Group, Industry Services (TIS) in fields of:
    • Off-shore projects
    • Gas pipelines
    • Renewables industry
    • Power industry
    • Shipyards
    • Oil & Gas industry
    • Infrastructure
  • Presenting Intertek to potential clients through direct communication in a face-to-face meeting, telephone, calls and emails.
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation, credentials pitch asking questions, solutions pitch, negotiation, and close handover to the account management team.
  • As a representative of Intertek at Industry events and tradeshows, BDM professional manner and polished appearance will aid intention of gaining new business leads and contracts.
  • Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
  • To effectively interact with other departments including the account management and technical team.

 Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position min. 3 years
  • Higher managerial and/or technical education,
  • Knowledge of English at an advanced level,
  • High interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to think strategically,
  • Ability to build long-term business relationships,
  • Driving license cat. B.
  • Self-reliance and good work organization.
